I’d never be a normal kid, so my parents feared,
I only cried in binary, and was born with a neck beard.
So you see I must confess, I’ve always been a geek,
before I learnt to walk or talk, I learnt to poke and peek.
In my home I’m proud to say, UGM would really fit,
for all my life I’ve always been, a nerd and lifelong TWiT.

Now that I’m all grown up, I’ve become what I must be,
locked behind this backlit screen, as a Windows code monkey.
With those quad cores all overclocked, as fast as they can get,
I’d never have to wait again, for Visual Studio .NET.
Then as my coding output soars, so I can pay the rent,
I’ll stun my boss with login scripts, functional and elegant.

When my working day is done, I’ll stay up till night ends,
living on Brain Tonic, editing videos for friends.
I filmed my sister’s wedding once, as a gift for the in-laws,
Then redubbed the only soundtrack, with samples from Star Wars.
Just think what would be possible, with three graphic cards on board,
I could overwrite the bride to be, with a CGI Sith Lord.

If in my home you were to stand, a home theatre you would see,
with ten foot screen, a subwoofer, and front projection in HD.
In this mix you must agree, UGM would really thrive,
from MP4 to Blu-ray movies, and hours of TWiT live.
For many years I’ve saved my cash, and often gone without,
to build my lounge room system, cause In some rooms size does count.

But UGM isn’t all for me, now that would just be mean,
the benefits run far and wide, and this one’s for Colleen.
For Leo is a generous chap, he’s paid for the whole kit,
He’ll even send out Colleen, who will help to install it.
No E-mail, Skype or call for help, no none of that regalia
He’ll send Colleen all expenses paid, to Sydney Australia.

There isn't much I would not do, to this I must admit,
to own the hottest PC gear, so I can play with it.
And so I built this Web site here, although I should confess,
at risk of lossing my geek cred, it runs on IIS.
Just let me get this last word in, before the bots attack,
if it helps to win some fanboy votes, I can pretend to own a mac.

I'm getting my own brain port, I've booked the surgery,
so I can expand my memory, via USB.
Connected to the UGM, I'd no longer be a coward,
Water cooled and chrome plated, I'd be Windows Vista powered.
With neon lights and multi-cores, I could handle any scene,
I'd just need to keep my fluids up, to avoid that darn blue screen.

But honestly we must not forget, the most important point remains,
the best reason for this hot PC, is to play with all the games.
For days and nights without a break, you would find me there,
fragging zombie aliens, I'd never leave my chair.
From C.O.D. to Crysis, I'll even play rock band,
fortunately I always keep, my UroClub at hand.

Eventually I'd have to stop, and finally go to sleep,
resting all my circutry, to dream of electric sheep.
But I’d spare some megahertz, and a core or three
to solve the age old question, thats been bugging me.
Not is there life on mars, or why the earth has warmed,
no, all I need to know is, how is babby formed?

In the end it's not the parts, on this I cannot lie,
it's the bragging rights that UGM gives, that money just can't buy.
While I have no doubt that I would use, UGM everyday.
to push beyond the boundaries, of how I work and play
The most important reason I can give, is clearlry not a mystery,
I'd be the proudest geek alive, to own a modern piece of history.
